Florida Cup 2017 at Al Lang Stadium – January 8-21
Florida Cup Challenge 2017 is an international competition in which Clubs represent their countries in a format similar to the Davis Cup in tennis. In this format, each team will play 2 matches and fight for points for their country. Win = 3 pts, Tie = 1 pt, and 1 extra point awarded to winner by penalty kicks. Country with the most points win. This regarded soccer event comes to the Burg this January! Our own Tampa Bay Rowdies will compete agains soccer teams from all around the world. Click HERE for tickets and details. St. Pete Free Clinic in Need of Donations
The St. Petersburg Free Clinic is critically low on food donations, but the need hasn’t stopped. One in seven adults, and one in every four children, in Pinellas County doesn’t know where he will get his next meal. The Free Clinic is the food bank for mid- and south Pinellas County, and it provides food assistance to more than 60,000 of our hungry neighbors each month through its food bank and network of community partners. It’s requesting the community’s help in restocking its shelves. Click HERE for a list of needed food items. The Studio@620 welcomes Philippe Mastrocola for a two day pop up show with live painting demonstrations. Philippe Mastrocola is a Montreal-based graffiti artist, photographer, muralist and painter. After years of painting graffiti, Philippe’s scope and style continued to evolve as he developed a stronger passion for art and experimented with different materials and media. 10am-6pm both Tuesday and Wednesday. Six of Nashville’s hottest new country artists will come together on the Mahaffey stage delivering a great night of music, stories and laughs during the 2nd annual 99.5 QYK Guitar Pull, presented by Russell’s Western Wear. The artists who’ll perform in an intimate setting are Gary Allan, Tyler Farr, Josh Turner, Chris Lane, Chase Bryant and Kane Brown. The concert benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay, Inc., which has four Houses throughout the Tampa Bay area. WIPA Live!
Come out and enjoy an evening of food trucks, music, art, and local exhibitors. The food trucks will be serving up amazing food. Shua and Set and Setting will be playing the WIPA Live! stage.
