Going Coastal: Invertebrate Investigations at Weedon Island Preserve
Join the Weedon Island Preserve on this Monday Edition (student day-off school in Pinellas) of Going Coastal! Students will learn about the diversity of marine invertebrates, how scientists identify invertebrates into different groups, and some cool facts about their favorite critters! Students will get to see many preserved specimens close-up, on loan from the collection at Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute! The Unfiltered Comedy Show with Steve Lazlow at Iberian Rooster
The headliner will be Steve Lazlow, Lazlow’s comedy is highly improvisational with an edge. Originally from Long Island, NY Lazlow was in the East Side Players with Kevin James. Lazlow moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and was on the Tonight Show in January of 2004 as well as being on Comedy Central’s Crossballs. Lazlow was most recently seen on Last Comic Standing. Pilates + Pints at Flying Boat Brewing Co.
