This weekend, hundreds of people in vintage attire will take to the streets on old school bikes for a four-mile loop through downtown as part of St. Pete Shuffle’s 10th annual Tweed Ride. Y’all ready to bike the ‘Burg in style?
Doors open and registration begins at 2pm on Saturday, January 22. Attendees will enjoy a selection of tea and scones before the official ride. Tickets to participate are $40 for St. Pete Shuffle members, and $50 for non-members. You can reserve your tickets in advance online.
Grab your tweed and your velocipede, the year’s most fashionable event on two wheels. This event is a pivotal fundraiser for the Sunshine City’s historic shuffleboard club.

The ride officially begins 4pm. The Tweed Ride entails a leisurely bike ride through downtown St Petersburg, wearing your finest tweed or other fashionable vintage. Riders will be escorted by the St. Pete Police around downtown.
An after party is set from 5-8pm, and food will be provided — it’s included in the cost of the ticket. Cycle Brewing will be onsite after the ride to provide brews for cyclists. The super talented photographer Todd Bates will be in attendance taking portraits for guests, and there will be live music by Junco Royals.
