Brews, Burgers and punk unplugged. This is the leather laced Detroit back alley sound the rebel in you has been howling off the plastic, closed garage door of your bones. Between Heaven and Hell there is Burgatory. The second Annual event celebrating all sounds and screams that comprise punk takes over The Local 662 and Fubar on May 24.
Burgatory is sponsored by PBR and Creative Loafing. Prior to the music you can check out the PBR Burger Bash. They’re bringing "the heat and the meat." At 4pm you can grab some FREE BBQ and Burgers while supplies last at Fubar. We’re not saying we condone mosh pits, we’re just saying you better be prepared to windmill your way to the front for a plate of festival fuel.

This Memorial Day weekend get sticky with the madness that coveted favorites like Wolf-Face, Buffalo Buffalo, Zulu Wave and Fero Lux bring to every set. Their fast paced, scotch coated, carbonated lyrical antics connote the brash absurdity and indelible ingenuity of benchmark bands like the Meat Puppets, The Damned, The Sex Pistols and The Beach Boys (if you take the Album Pet Sounds line by line you’ll begin to understand the angst and grit the California icons are made of).
