The Nosh Pit is delivering classic egg creams, a giant Dagwood sandwich, and more NY-style delicacies in St. Petersburg at 4040 Park Street North. This is the sister concept to The Wheelhouse in Lighthouse Plaza.

The Nosh Pit owners are sourcing all of their meats from NY’s Old World Provisions, which is a family-owned company making meats for over 4 generations.

Current hours are Monday-Saturday from 12-5pm. Indoor and outdoor dining is available, as well as takeout. You can order online in advance on The Nosh Pit website.

Follow The Nosh Pit on Facebook for updates on expanded hours and menu teasers. You can also celebrate the ownership by visiting The Wheelhouse at 7220 Central Avenue. The restaurant specializes in craft beers from local, regional, and national breweries with 46 constantly rotating taps. They serve delicious house made shareables, sammies, and sweets.

A tasted menu includes old school egg creams, NY-style cheesecake, big black and white cookies, super stuffed pastrami Reubens, all beef hot dogs, bagel with lox, potato knish, latkes and more will be on the menu.

Those with a major appetite can step up and take on the Dagwood challenge. If you lose, the Gian tower of bread and deli meats runs $49. Win or lose, you’ll get a t-shirt to remember the endeavor.
