The International Hubs You Can Fly to Direct from TPA

Tampa International Airport has elevated its already high standard of excellence as new local foodie spots, artisanal coffee brands, live music and the addition of direct flights to San Francisco have full underscored the visitor experience. More improvements are set to be made as the airport continues its billion dollar renovations. Innovation isn’t just occurring on the ground. TPA announced a few new direct flights from their terminals this year. While we love the Burg and the Bay area, affection is a thing best spread. TPA understands, that’s why they’ve gone to great lengths to link our city to the world at large. Here are seven international hotspots that TPA offers direct flights to.

London

Zurich

Ever wanted to visit Switzerland? Edelweiss Air will take you straight to Zurich. Through Edelweiss’s codshare partner, SWISS Airlines, you can book trips (with connections) to visit other remarkable places all over the globe. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal

Air Canada makes it extremely easy to take a trip straight into 3 major hubs in Canada: Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal. Sit back, relax for three hours, and enjoy Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa when you land.

 

Cayman Islands

If you’ve ever dreamed about going to the Cayman Islands, then TPA is your best friend. They offer non-stop service on Cayman Airways to Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. Panama

Copa Airlines and TPA announced in 2013 that Panama would be added to the list of non-stop destinations offered. Since then, tons of Tampa natives have enjoyed Panama, and so can you! Frankfurt

Reykjavik

Beginning in September of 2017, Icelandair will provide service between Tampa and Reykjavik. The capital of Iceland, Reykjavik is home to one of the great wonders of the world, the blue lagoon. Havana 

Tampa International Airport has cemented its place in history, along with Southwest Airlines, after becoming one of the first spots to offer direct flights to Cuba’s capital city Havana.
