St. Pete’s plethora of craft breweries make for perfect rainy day fun. With the endless rainstorms, you can make a whole on-going event out of trying to hit every brewery! You can’t go wrong with one of the St. Pete staples like Green Bench Brewing Co., 3 Daughters Brewing, Cage Brewing, or Cycle Brewing. The newly opened Webb City Cellar is a solid 21+ beer wonderland as well.

Running inside when it starts to rain.

Tropicana Field is a completely indoors stadium, so you can guarantee that the rain will not affect you or the game! #ProTip: They run ticket specials all the time.

Bring the whole family with the Family Pack. For select Sunday home games, fans can purchase Family Packs that include 3 or more Outfield tickets and a 20-ounce Coke product with each ticket purchased. Family Packs start at $17 per ticket.

They also offer $2 Kids tickets. For select home games, tickets for kids 14 years and under are $2 with the purchase of a full-price adult ticket.

Plus, they’ve added even more local food additions to the concourses making it one heck of an experience. For more info on the must eat gameday food, click here.

Take yourself (and maybe your gym buddy) on a yoga date

With a full host of classes on their schedule every day, the Body Electric Yoga Company is a no brainer for us on soggy weather days. They offer everything from Rocket Yoga to Power Flows and even have a few Kids Yoga classes. If you’re a beginner, make sure to read the details on which class you’re signing up for before you hit submit. Just looking for a drop-in class, those are only $16. ProTip? Friday classes at Body Electric are only $5 (except Mysore classes). For more info on their memberships and pricing details click here.

If you’re wanting to still hit up a brewery though, we highly recommend their Yoga on Tap at 3 Daughters Brewing. A Sweet Tea Cider from their Cider bar is the perfect motivation for us to make it through a full yoga practice.

Climb to new heights!

Whether you’re a seasoned rock climber or it’s your first time,  Vertical Ventures is one of our go-to spots rain or shine. They offer a day pass that is $18 for adults and $12 for kids (includes the rental harness and everything!). On your first visit, we recommend taking the intro to belay class for $35. This class includes your admission, all the gear you’ll need (climbing shoes, harness, chalk), belay instruction (how to hold the ropes for a climber), and a 2-week intro membership with all rental gear. Classes are taught hourly at most times throughout the day. If you’re short on time, they can set you up on the auto-belay courses or the bouldering routes just as easily. We promise it’s not as scary as it looks!

Time to play some games…

Look, arcade games are our jam. We’re lucky to have we not one but TWO “barcades” in this little Burg. If you’re feeling like grabbing a cold one and hitting up some extra classic N64 machinery, foosball, and vintage arcade games – head to Right Around the Corner. If you’re wanting a more neon-filled, full-liquor throwback experience – Park & Rec is calling your name.

Put on your racing pants

Time to put the pedal to the metal. Tampa Bay Grand Prix’s indoor go-kart facility is honestly a rainy daydream. Nothing better than channeling your inner Ricky Bobby or Richard Petty (depending on the day you’re having) in an all-out speed chase through the tracks of this race hall. Normally it’s about $16 if you want to do a single race. Check their specials out here though, they offer a lot of deals to help you get the most racing bang for your buck.
