St. Pete is making it easy to beat the heat this summer. On Thursday, June 22, St. Petersburg Parks and Rec is bringing back the annual TASCO Beach Bash, a waterfront extravaganza for teens in 6th-12th grade.

Beach Bash is being hosted at North Shore Beach from 10 am – 4 pm, and registration is $5. The water-filled party features live music and teen performers, two 20-foot water slides, bungee bounce, a volleyball tournament, water wars, and plenty more.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch, and food will also be available to purchase from on-site concessions. Registration is required, and online advance registration can be found here. Access to North Shore Beach can be found at 11th Avenue and North Shore Drive NE.

Looking for more to do this summer? Parks and Rec is also hosting its annual Mud Wars in July, with the return of TASCO Battle of the Bay. Teens will battle it out for the top spot in the dirtiest mud competition in the country, featuring sand pits, slime and more. Teams will participate in different events and compete for a prize awarded only for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
