Catch some rays and enjoy out with the whole family. Let us know your favorite dog-friendly getaway in the comments.

PS, we just went out of town and were able to board our pup for a few days on the fly with a locally-owned and operated dog walking/pet sitting business, Tails & Trails, and highly recommend it if you need someone to look after your furry friend(s).

Davis Islands Dog Beach

This waterfront dog beach is a totally laid back spot to unwind with your four-legged friend. The area features a water fountain and wash station to help keep your dog cool and clean while they play.

Ft. De Soto Dog Beach

Let your dogs roam this beautiful, historic beach off-leash. Let them dive and splash in the water, make some new puppy friends and enjoy the Florida sunshine. There are also 2 fenced-in areas near the beach for large and small dogs with water stations.

This expansive state park features a designated beach area for dogs, in addition to allowing leashed pets on the nature trail. It’s a Dunedin gem and totally worth the trip with your pooch.
