Tacos & Tequila Fest brings 30+ food trucks and distilleries this Saturday

A waterfront festival with tons of authentic tacos, premium margaritas and great live music is coming to Vinoy Park on Saturday, May 14. The St Pete Tacos & Tequila Festival presented by Don Julio Tequila will feature more than 25 taco vendors, a slew of great margaritas and other cocktails, four fun live bands, cold Coronas and Funky Buddha beer, games, prizes and more.

Nearly 30 local food trucks and restaurants will be on hand from 12-8 pm as Brewed Life hosts one of Tampa Bay’s largest taco and tequila festivals at one of the most beautiful waterfront parks around. There will be live music all day, more than 10 distilleries on hand, and tons of drinks featuring Don Julio tequila, seltzers, beer and more.

General Admission tickets to Tacos & Tequila Festival ($9 in pre-sale or $12 at the door) earn full admission to all the festivities, allowing attendees to purchase from any vendors and enjoy music throughout the day. While supplies last, VIP Matador Cantina tickets come with exclusive access to the Matador Cantina Area with extra amenites, cocktails and spirit samples from 10+ distilleries, a private tent area with tables, private restrooms, and an additional private beer and cocktail bar.

Festival brings together massive collection of Tampa Bay’s finest food

The gathering of taco-centric food trucks and restaurants is practically unprecedented, with an incredible lineup of great dishes coming to Vinoy Park. The stacked list includes favorites like Quiero Mas Tacos, Primo’s Mexican Kitchen, Wakamole, Los Chapos Tacos and Sea Dog Cantina.

The festival will also feature authentic Puerto Rican fare from El Yukayeke Agueibana, hot corn from El Roy’s Elotes, South American cuisine from Brazilian Fun Foods, and even ice cream and donut vendors. The full list of vendors can be found here.

In addition to Don Julio, local stars like Dark Door Spirits, Kozuba and Sons Distillery and St. Petersburg Distillery will be among the double-digit distilleries showcasing their spirits.

The event is dog friendly, and children 10 and under are allowed to attend for free. Get tickets and find more info on the full festival here.
