Stranger Things Flea Market to Kick Off Halloween Weekend

Stranger Things Flea Market to Kick Off Halloween Weekend

Can Halloween in July be a thing? From watching Universal’s iconic horror monsters on the silver screen to dressing up as our favorite comic superheroes — Spider-Man, obviously — Halloween offers a bevy of escapist fun, with a dash of horror.

While October may seem way off in the distance, a few local organizations have joined together to get residents hyped for the spooky time of year. Black Crow, Sunscreen Film Society, and Cinema Squatch have teamed up to screen the season premiere of Stranger Things during a special Halloween Flea Market.

Binge, shop and enjoy a strange evening

Craft vendors will gather at Black Crow’s roasting facility in the Grand Central District — 2157 1st Avenue South — to sell some awesome Stranger Things-inspired merchandise. There will also be free local brews, guest performers, retro snacks, an upside down costume contest and Eleven’s craft vendors.

The event begins at 7pm and admission is just $25. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Sunscreen Film Society Student Film Camp and Keep St. Pete Lit. Details regarding specific vendors, musical guests and more will be released closer to the event date.
