Story Stuart, owner of Beans & Barlour, hosting FREE toilet paper drive thru on Saturday

A precious commodity as of late is toilet paper. Local business owner Story Stuart is looking to fill that need by offering free rolls of toilet paper to the community on Saturday, March 21 outside of Beans & Barlour downtown. This will be curbside drive up only. Stuart hopes this will help mitigate crowding and make the pick up process easier.

Here’s the full statement:

We’ll be hosting a FREE toilet paper ‘drive-thru’ Saturday 3/21 at 11:30am. Our staff will be on the sidewalk in front of the shop passing out rolls to all who need them. The TP will be completely free but if you feel inclined to tip our staff they will greatly appreciate it during this time of decreased earnings.

In order to prevent any sort of crowd or line from forming and to minimize contact, we ask that you please drive up to the curb and wait for a member of our team to assist you.

The rolls we will be giving away are commercial size rolls that are 9 inches in diameter. They are equivalent to more than 5 standard size residential rolls. Supplies are limited so we ask that you only stop by if you have a true need.

We’re all in this together!

We’re once again delighted to see a small business owner take initiative to support the community while taking care of her employees. I can’t think of a better spot to represent the downtown vibe than the ‘Burg’s boozy dessert bar.

In the past, Story has created Girl Scout Cookie Milkshakes, Harry Potter Drinks, transformed the space into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, and brought Candy Land to tasty life. Stuarts entrepreneurial spirit is unwavering in this difficult time.

Beans & Barbour is located at 538 1st Avenue North.
