The St. Pete Pier is one of the most beloved new spots in the Sunshine City, and on the 4th of July the 26-acre waterfront playground will host a 4-mile Pier Run.

The 4 mile run showcases the amazing St Pete Pier, which opened in 2020, as well as St Pete’s scenic waterfront. The event includes live music for all to enjoy. Come and run your FOUR ON THE FOURTH at the St Pete Pier!

Each runner in the 4-miler will receive a high quality, custom-designed shirt and run bib with B-tag timing chip at packet pick-up. All 4-miler finishers receive a St Pete Pier inspired finisher medal.

The run begins at 6:30am on July 4. Those interested in registering and participating can reserve their spot online.

Before the run, The St. Pete Pier will also be a part of the month-long St. Pete Pride celebrations.

On June 12 the community is invited to join the “We Are Family” festivities.

We Are Family is a gathering of LGBTQ+ families and allies on the beautiful downtown St. Petersburg waterfront in North and South Straub Parks. Guests can also enjoy one of USA Today’s Best New Attractions – The St Pete Pier! Family focused vendors, entertainment, food and beverages will be available in the parks.

On The Pier you will find an epic playground, splash park, a wide variety of dining options, and more. Enjoy this first-of-its-kind Pride event as the community celebrates the family culture of St. Pete and beyond.
