A neighborhood pharmacy and express Indian takeout restaurant have opened on Central Avenue in the EDGE District. Both located on the ground floor of 930 Central apartments, My Choice RX is a pharmacy and marketplace, while Spice Culture Express is a quick-service concept run by Clearwater’s fine dining Indian restaurant Deccan Spice.
Spice Culture Express quietly opened over the holidays and the takeout menu is surprisingly large, featuring a strong list of both meat-filled and vegetarian Indian classics. Open daily for lunch and dinner, the express location offers appetizers, entrees and combo meals, as well as two traditional desserts.

The hot samosas are quick to catch an eye, while curries and masalas take center stage on the list of entrees. Spice Culture has also brought over its highly-rated biryani dishes from Deccan Spice, offering another filling and spice-laden meal on the go. In addition to drinks available from the marketplace, Spice Culture offers Mango Lassi, a popular drink made by blending mango and yogurt.
The My Choice pharmacy and marketplace offers a convenient spot for those who live nearby – or those who are just in the area – to find medicines, snacks, sodas, eggs, wine and beer, and various other sundries.
Spice Culture Express is open daily from 11 am – 3 pm and 5:30-9:30 pm. The pharmacy is open M-F 9 am – 5:30 pm, while the marketplace opens at 9 am on weekdays and noon on weekends.
