Smith & Associates Real Estate continues to shine as an example of supporting local, and their latest announcement will be a boon for local non-profits. The Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation announced its 2023 grant award recipients – 18 organizations who will collectively receive more than $143,000 in funding.

The foundation supports a collection of non-profits annually, and this year’s grant cycle saw an increase in both the number of applicants and the amount of funding awarded, highlighting the incredible work being done by non-profits in the St. Pete and Tampa Bay Area community.

“We are thrilled to support these organizations in their efforts to positively impact our community,” said Bob Glaser, CEO and President of Smith & Associates Real Estate. “Their dedication to serving the needs of others is truly inspiring, and we are proud to be a part of their work. Multi-year grants give our organization a better chance for involvement and helps us be more connected to the non-profits we hope to support.”

The goal of the program, Smith & Associates says, is to not only build good relationships with meaningful non-profits and local organizations, but to truly place an emphasis on supporting directives in the areas of housing, community vibrancy, and, and positive education/mental well-being.

Established through the Community Foundation Tampa Bay, the Foundation creates a seamless approach for Smith employee and organizational participation in philanthropic causes by aligning donations and sponsorships to non-profit organizations and providing support for volunteer engagements and Board service. Smith associates are deeply embedded in the community, volunteering over 1,000 hours in the community on an annual basis.
