After a long hiatus, the Skyway Marina Summer Bash is back. On Saturday, June 8, 2pm–7pm, the Skyway Marina will celebrate its vibrant and growing district. Patrons will enjoy art, beer/wine, live music, food trucks, games, and more. The event will be held outside the St. Petersburg City Theatre located at 4025 31st St S.
As per Misty Bottorff, an organizer of the event: “The sense of community after the first ever celebration in the district was so well received, we held a block party the following year…We have so many new residents and developments happening in the district, it was time to bring it back and keep the sense of community with businesses and residents in one place to celebrate the efforts of the district as a whole.”

Summer bash to enthrall new and longtime residents of the district
On-site food trucks will sizzle up delicious eats that span the food-craving spectrum: Ibbi’s Q BBQ, Mini Mouthful Donuts, Go Stuff Yourself, and Churned Ice Cream.
Besides the food trucks, a vintage Volkswagen surf van, known as the Kombi Bus, loaded with beer kegs, with taps on the side, will be open for bar service. Live music courtesy of Tripp N Becca will set the tone of the festivities that is sure to enthrall longtime residents of the Skyway Marina District, and opportune new residents to get to know their neighbors and local business owners.
