The Sirata Is Getting A $15M Stunning Makeover

Sirata Beach Resort, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, has announced that a 15 million dollar renovation is underway set to be premiered late 2018. The resort’s restoration plan, led by the award-winning architectural and design firm EOA Group, includes a redesign of the current 382 guest rooms and suites, pools and beachfront oasis, a Kid’s Splash Zone, private cabanas, a hanging chair garden, upgraded dining options, as well as meetings and events facilities.

Sirata Beach Resort’s amenities, uniquely located with beachfront access and within a short distance from downtown St. Pete’s many attractions, museums, shops and craft breweries, has turned the resort from a place to stay into a must-visit destination. With the growing popularity of St. Pete Beach, the resort will combine local influences with a refreshingly modern design to create the perfect beachfront getaway where every guest will feel instantly at home; a retreat to return back to again and again.

“The Sirata Beach Resort has always been proud to be part of the St. Pete Beach community and is thrilled to make enhancements that create a unique local experience for our guests,” said Cricket Wagner, Director of Sales & Marketing at Sirata Beach Resort. “The renovations being done throughout the resort are going to bring the guest experience to an even more enjoyable level and we can’t wait to premier the new and improved Sirata Beach Resort.”

The resort will be taking on a new coastal casual design, infused with a range of blue and yellow hues that overlap a crisp palette of white and light gray. The redesign’s simple elegance ensures that ocean side sensibility and feelings of relaxation with splashes of fun pervades every aspect of a guest’s stay, from the moment of arrival through to departure.

Sirata Beach Resort provides each guest with the unique-to-the-area experience of walking straight from their room or the pool onto the resort’s private beach. This location access also allows for countless views of what has made the area come to be known as the sunset capital. Guests will continue to enjoy beachside meals at one of the locals’ favorite hangout, Harry’s Beach Bar, with an upgrade that includes a more open air bar space and positioned perfectly for full enjoyment of the pool and beach. The seating will be beach comfortable with dappled light and ocean breezes that will spur guests’ craving for the best beach burger and chilled cocktail.

Rum Runner’s will reemerge as the new favorite sunset spot after being converted into a playful, open lounge area right on the beach. The rustic bar will maintain the light hearted fun of the space while Adirondack chairs, rustic cocktail tables, a center fire pit and playful activities (including oversized Jenga and foosball tables) will offer plenty of seating and fun.

Sirata’s existing 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, will have a new casual yet elegant look to accommodate groups, weddings and larger events.

The beach resort has had a long standing reputation for creating an experience that is worth repeating – for both visitors and the local community – and looks forward to surpassing expectations even more once the renovations premier in stages throughout 2018.
