SHINE Mural Fest 2019 dates announced

Can you believe it’s been 5 years? That’s right, time flies when you’re making art. The Shine St. Petersburg Mural Fest is returning to the Sunshine City this Fall. The organizers just confirmed the dates on Facebook.

The festivities run from October 18 through October 26 this year. Specific details on participating artists and locations will be released later this summer. Follow Shine Mural Fest on Facebook, Instagram and on their website for updates.

Since launching, Shine has added dozens upon dozens of murals to our beloved Burg and transformed the city into an open-air art gallery. With color around every corner

The festival brings in artists from the local scale, national level, and even from the international stage to our streets for the week.

The ginormous red shark that Jaws himself envies on the back of the 600 block? Shark Toof (Los Angeles, CA) painted that during Shine’s inaugural festival in 2014.

Year two of Shine (2015) brought in the painting magician that is Caratoes all the way from Hong Kong for this masterpiece in the Grand Central District.
