St. Pete Beach continues to shine, and another area treasure has announced its return: RumFish Beach at TradeWinds Resort (6000 Gulf Blvd). A favorite getaway destination, RumFish Beach offers a unique mix of amenities and activities, like a beachfront zipline and outdoor adventures.

TradeWinds Resort has officially reopened RumFish Beach, marking a major milestone for St. Pete Beach as the community bounces back from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. For over 60 years, TradeWinds has been beloved for its vibrant beachfront experiences. Now, it’s ready to welcome visitors back, promising the same unforgettable charm that has drawn generations to its shores.

A Beach Escape Awaits Locals and Tourists

Travis Johnson, hotel manager at TradeWinds, shared his excitement: “We’re thrilled to reopen RumFish Beach so soon after the storms and can’t wait to welcome our TradeWinds family back home.” Many favorite amenities await, and though Island Grand remains closed for final preparations, Johnson is optimistic the full resort will reopen by the end of the year with even more activities.

Throughout recent recovery efforts, TradeWinds partnered with Feeding Tampa Bay to provide essential goods to impacted areas. Now, as the resort focuses on welcoming back guests, it also encourages visitors to support the local businesses helping the area rebuild.

With RumFish Beach open, guests can dive into activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and dolphin cruises. The beachfront oasis invites relaxation by the pool or in private cabanas with stunning sunset views. Additionally, TradeWinds will soon announce new dates for the Bucs Beach Bash and “Bye Week at the Beach” celebration in partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
