Rollin’ Oats launches curbside grocery pickup, installs plexiglass at the register

Rollin’ Oats launches curbside grocery pickup, installs plexiglass at the register

In times like these, it’s important to support local. The ‘Burg’s favorite grocery store, Rollin’ Oats, has launched new online ordering and curbside pickup to further assist in keeping customers and employees safe. You simply fill out your order online, and give the store a call when you arrive and they’ll bring the groceries right out to your car.

This service is encouraged for shoppers 65+ who are looking to reduce their risk of exposure. Curbside delivery isn’t the only precaution the store has taken.

Blue tape has been marked on the ground six feet apart in aisles and register lanes for proper physical distancing. Please adhere to the rules and be kind and compassionate to others while you shop.

Rollin’ Oats employees are now required to wear masks and gloves while working. The shop has also installed plexiglass shields at each register.

The staff are sanitizing frequently touched surfaces throughout the store such as counter tops, shopping carts and baskets. They are also taking extra measures after hours to thoroughly clean, sanitize and restock.

The shop has also pre-packaged all deli and hot case items in the café. The expanded grab and go section will help customers meal prep, and make the entire shopping experience a bit more convenient.

Rollin’ Oats has two locations in Tampa Bay:

  • 2842 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North, St. Petersburg, FL
  • 1021 North MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL
