Rays Fan Fest is back! For those who missed the annual preseason party in The Trop, the Tampa Bay Rays announced that the family-friendly celebration will return for 2023 after a year off. Rays Fan Fest will take place inside Tropicana Field this Saturday, February 18, from 11 am – 3 pm.
The free and fun-filled event brings fans of all ages onto the field to not only prepare for the upcoming season, but to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Tampa Bay Rays. There will be tons of interactive games, inflatables, and even an entertaining stage show. And the star of the show: over 75 current and former major league players and coaches will be on hand for autographs.
This serves as the first chances for fans to meet the 2023 Rays team in person, as fest-goers can interact with players (as well as mascots) and come home with autographed souvenirs. Tickets to the autograph areas are now available to the general public on the MLB Ballpark App. Fan Fest is also the first opportunity for fans to purchase 25th anniversary merchandise, and there will also be a charity yard sale benefitting the Rays Baseball Foundation.
In addition to autographs and t-shirts, fans could even be going home with a new puppy. SPCA Tampa Bay will be on hand as part of the festivities, as Pinellas County’s only for-all shelter brings adoptable dogs along for the fun.
While Rays Fan Fest is a free event, all attendees must a claim a ticket using the MLB Ballpark App, the same app used for Rays regular season games. Free parking is available in lots 6 and 7. Rays season members will have their tickets automatically added to their account and will receive early access beginning at 10 am.
And don’t forget – for the first time in years, the Rays are hosting spring training right here in St. Pete with games at The Trop. Tickets are available now. Read more here.
