Rays host Riley Green postgame concert & epic Skate Night at Tropicana Field this Saturday

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - September 8: 90’s Concert after the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Seattle Mariners at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg on September 8, 2023. (Will Vragovic / Tampa Bay Rays)

Tropicana Field is no stranger to hosting big stars, and this summer, some of the world’s hottest musicians are taking the diamond on Rays gamedays. The Tampa Bay Rays announced their 2024 Postgame Concert Series, headlined by award-winning acts T-Pain, Riley Green, and Jimmy Eat World. Tickets to the final two are available now.

The next edition arrives this Saturday, as Riley Green takes the on-field stage after the game, and that’s not all the Rays have in store this weekend. As part of their skate-themed City Connect jersey celebration, the team is celebrating all things skateboarding on Saturday, as it hosts a pre-game skate demo with Nike SB stars. The special Skate Night ticket includes early access to the demo on the field, a free City Connect T-shirt, and a meet-and-greet with Nike SB athletes Jake Anderson, Sean Malto and Eric Koston. Learn more and get tickets here, which also include access to the postgame concert by Green.

The concert series has become more popular than ever as music and baseball fans alike pack out The Trop for the headline shows. The concept is just as simple as it is wonderful – following select weekend night games in the summer, every attendee can stay after the game for a concert on the field at no extra charge.

While concert attendance is free with any valid ticket, there are also options to upgrade your concert seating with a wristband getting you onto the field right in front of the stage. If you’re a particularly big fan of any of these acts, we highly recommend the upgrade to get an incredible experience. Supplies on those wristbands are limited, so act soon. Season ticket holders can get them for a discount.

Rays Concert Series Schedule:

Riley Green has been compelling Country music fans to raise a drink, shed a tear, and, above all, celebrate where they are from, since first releasing his self-titled EP in 2018. His songs like the No. 1 platinum hit “There Was This Girl,” the 2X-platinum-certified heart-tugger “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and his chart-topping collab with Thomas Rhett, “Half of Me,” have made Riley synonymous with what Country music does best: making listeners feel something with his no-gimmick, relatable writing and classic feel. His latest album, Ain’t My Last Rodeo, includes his third No. 1 single “Different ‘Round Here (Ft. Luke Combs)” as well as his current single, “Damn Good Day To Leave.”

Since emerging in 2004, T-Pain not only changed the course of pop, hip-hop, and R&B, but he also reshaped the fabric of the culture itself. Beyond moving over 50 million singles, gathering billions of streams, picking up six GRAMMY® Awards, and selling out shows on multiple continents, his voice could be heard loud and clear as “All I Do Is Win” soundtracked President Barack Obama’s entry into the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
