Take us out to the ballgame, mom. The Tampa Bay Rays today announced that all kids 14 and under can eat for free at Rays home games for the next month.
The Kids Eat Free promotion, presented by HI-CHEW, applies to all homes from July 29 – August 25 at Tropicana Field. As part of the deal, any eligible attendee gets an entire meal of their own, including a Nathan’s hot dog, bag of chips, fountain drink, and HI-CHEW candy.

The Rays are putting on the deal as a way to help locals “enjoy the game with the whole family and create new memories while saving money.” The offer is available exclusively through the stadium’s mobile ordering system on the Ballpark app. The offer is limited to one meal per child, and parents or guardians may claim up to four kids per game. All kids must be present at the time meal(s) are redeemed, which can be done at three different locations throughout the concourse.
This mobile ordering option is built in to the Ballpark app that is used for scanning digital tickets, giving ticket holders a convenient all-in-one location for the game. Those redeeming the Kids Eat Free promotion just have to open the app, click through to the Kids Eat Free Meal icon, and enter the “KIDSEATFREE” promo code to redeem.
Adults, try ice cream nachos and Korean fried chicken sandwiches.
