Rays announce $5 ticket summer promo

Inside Tropicana Field

Take me out to the ball game…for just $5. Seriously. The Rays are offering super cheap tickets for its next 5 home games.

The proverbial fire sale starts after 10am on Tuesday, June 4.

The team has had its share of drama in the Tampa Bay region as it searches for a potential new stadium, but while we wait for that day to come, we’re more than happy to kick our feet up at the Trop and enjoy some baseball. In the midst of that though, they’ve been holding their own this season and are currently standing at 2nd in the American League East.

Honestly, even if you’re not a fan, the ballpark is basically one giant food hall.

With the new season, the Rays injected a slew of local grub into the stadium. Some of our personal favorites we can’t wait to try? Next time we’re there, we’re heading straight for the Rays themed ice cream sandwiches from Sweet Stack Shack. Complete with blue and yellow sprinkles, they even have a Gluten-Free cookie option available.

Next on our list? The Mac & Cheezus available on the Budweiser Porch from Kings Street Food Counter. Three cheese mac n cheese with pulled pork on a sandwich is our idea of heaven.

Hungry for more? Find the Sunshine City Nachos from Avenue Eat + Drink (The Hunger + Thirst Group) on the Budweiser Porch in center field. House-fried chips topped with mojo pork and more? #TastyAF.

Another must-try? Pacific Counter’s Hawaiin Dog made specifically for the baseball stadium’s menu. We’re keeping our fingers crossed they bring this to their 600 Block brick and mortar location.

Sip a Tampa Bay brew and enjoy the great game of baseball.

The Rays’ next set of home games will see them face the Athletics June 10-12, and the Angels from June 13-16. Click here for tickets.
