The Tampa Bay Rays have captured the imaginations of St. Pete and Tampa residents. The Trop was packed for games 3 and 4 of the ALDS, that saw the Rays surge past the Astros. The series is now tied 2-2 and heads back to Houston for the final game.

While many of us can’t be there in person, Burg residents are invited out for a special watch party in North Straub Park. That’s right, instead of screening a classic film under the stars, Preserve the Burg has opted to show Game 5 of the ALDS on the big screen.

Expect the usual Movies in the Park setup, including live music by George Pennington beginning at 5:30pm, and your favorite food vendors, including beer and wine. The Rays street team will be on site with prizes, DJ Kitty, and host Pat Donovan of 95.3 WDAE.
