Can’t make it out to the Vinoy Park event? The Florida Orchestra is also bringing Pops in the Park to River Tower Park in Tampa on October 17.

The Florida Orchestra returns to full power in a big way throughout Tampa Bay. Music Director Michael Francis conducts Beethoven’s Fifth – the most famous four notes in music – plus Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons for opening weekend Sept. 24-26 in the Tampa Bay Times Masterworks series.

Pops in the Park returns with The Florida Orchestra

Florida’s largest professional orchestra will begin its 54th season with health and safety measures in place as it expands to venues in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. TFO also will add three performances of Handel’s Messiah featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay for the holidays, and change the date of an upcoming Family Concert.“I cannot wait to give that first downbeat and hear The Florida Orchestra back in full power,” said Maestro Francis, starting his seventh season with TFO. “I am prouder than ever to lead a symphony orchestra that builds community and, week after week, provides a sanctuary for you to listen to the world’s most inspiring music.
