Fairy tales are coming to life this weekend, thanks to the Inaugural Pinellas Medieval Fair. Hosted at DK Farms and Nursery (1750 Lake Avenue SE), the two-day extravaganza is a showcase of old world entertainment, food and drink, shopping, games and more.

The Pinellas Medieval Fair takes place this Saturday and Sunday February 4th and 5th from 9 am – 5 pm, and tickets start at $14. Parking for the event is free at the farm.

Organizers for the event are absolutely going all out, building a fantasy adventure with tons of activities and entertainment. In addition to modern classics like pony rides, mini golf and wine tastings, guests can try their hand at archery, boffer fighting, and tomato throwing.

The fair will also feature fencing demonstrations, live blacksmith demonstrations, medieval tournament reenactments, electric bull rides, and animal feeding. There will also be an artisan vendor market full of unique shops, as well as jumbo turkey legs, fresh lemonade, wine and beer, and plenty of photo ops. For the kids, check out the bounce houses as well as the corn beach.

Tickets must be purchased in advance online, and children 30” and under get in free. Visit the Pinellas Medieval Fair website for tickets and more information.
