German Brews and live music at Piertoberfest

While authentic German beer from Bavaria’s most renowned breweries gets a big portion of the spotlight, this festival is much more than just steins full of ale and lager. Tons of local food vendors will be supplying all the traditional dishes like bratwurst, currywurst, spatzen, sauerbraten, potato salad, giant pretzels and apple strudel funnel cakes.

In addition to all the eating and drinking, Piertoberfest will feature a rotation of classic Bavarian music, polka, and other Oktoberfest favorites. And for those ready to show what they’re made of, attendees can participate in Oktoberfest competitions like stein hoisting, tug of war, keg tossing and more. There will even be a best-dressed competition, so don’t hesitate to break out the lederhosen and dirndls.

Among the double-digit offerings of German and German-style beers, guests can try the original Oktoberfest Marzen by Paulaner Brewery that debuted at the original Oktoberfest more than 200 years ago and has come to be the symbol of Oktoberfest worldwide. Beyond the long list of traditional brews from old-school German breweries, there will be a selection of Oktoberfest-style beers from local breweries, as well. Get the best of Bavaria AND the Burg, all in one stop.

General Admission is open to all ages, while the VIP Experience is 21+ only. For more information and a full list of activities, beers, food menus and more, visit piertoberfest.com.
