Getting your fix of Mongolian beef, egg rolls, or sweet and sour chicken is about to get easier than ever. P.F. Chang’s is set to open a takeout-only concept in St. Pete, as first reported today by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The P.F. Chang’s To Go website lists St. Petersburg as its only upcoming Tampa Bay location.

The new concept will be the only P.F. Chang’s of any kind in St. Pete, and the first of its new to-go concepts anywhere in the Tampa Bay region. TBBJ reports the restaurant will be located at 1550 66th Street North, taking over the former Rib City in the Shoppes at the Royale and opening in summer 2023.

According to the P.F. Chang’s website, there are already five to-go locations open in Florida (the closest in Orlando) with the St. Petersburg location one of three more coming to the Sunshine State. As of now, the closest full P.F. Chang’s restaurants are in Tampa at the Westshore Plaza and in Clearwater at 27001 US Highway 19 North.

Takeout is here to stay for P.F. Chang’s

P.F. Chang’s began rolling out the to-go-only concepts after the onset of covid, and their success even still has led the brand to continue investing in takeout and delivery-only locations.

From their website: “With our convenient online ordering options, you can enjoy bold, authentically crafted Asian food whenever the craving hits. Get your next meal prepped for pickup, ready for easy takeout, or delivered right to you. This is P.F. Chang’s To Go.”

The full restaurant menu is available at the P.F. Chang’s To Go locations, as well as catering options. The chain Asian restaurant is loved for its massive menu of scratch-made appetizers, small plates, sushi, and meat-forward dishes.
