A massive musical bash is coming to St. Pete with the return of Party On The Plaza under the stars at The Mahaffey. Hosted by the Bill Edwards Foundation, the 5th Annual Party on the Plaza is a music, food and drink festival benefitting the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater.
Party On The Plaza takes place on Saturday, November 9 from 7-10 pm outside The Mahaffey, and the festival will feature incredible live music by #NoFilter, a gathering of some of St. Pete’s best food makers, a lineup of local artisans and vendors, full bars, and much more.
To bring the community together and lift each other up, organizers have decided to make Party on the Plaza free to the public this year, transforming one of St. Pete’s biggest annual parties into a true community celebration on the waterfront. The event is made possible thanks to sponsors Egan Painting, LLC, WUSF Public Media & Labrador Primary Care Center.
“We want to unite everyone for an evening of music and fun on our stunning waterfront plaza,” The Mahaffey said. “This uplifting event is our way of giving back to the community, offering support in the wake of the challenges we’ve all faced after the recent hurricanes.”
Guests are asked to RSVP for their free GA tickets here, and for those who want to help support the foundation, there are a limited number of special VIP Experience packages available.
VIP tickets include early entry at 6 pm, access to the priority VIP seating area, one free premium beverage, a private cash bar, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, private bathrooms, and free preferred parking for the event. VIP tickets are $125 per person and proceeds go directly to supporting Class Acts Youth Educational Performance Series.
Guests are invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a beautiful view of Tampa Bay with special musical guest, #NOFILTER. The local favorites creates a one-of-a-kind concert experience that features four singer-musicians. Each member plays multiple instruments alongside rich, original backing sounds and elaborate vocals. From the chart-topping hits of today to the classics of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, this group brings a fast-paced, energetic performance that’s sure to keep you dancing, singing and entertained all night.
“#NOFILTER is known for a fast-paced, energetic show that will make November’s Party on the Plaza fun and upbeat; perfect for dancing under the stars!” said Amy Miller, President of Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts. “It’s an exciting time to be involved as we are celebrating the 31st year of our Class Acts Program, which brings students on a field trip to the Mahaffey.”
Proceeds from Party on the Plaza go directly to the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts to support The Mahaffey’s Class Acts Youth Educational Performance Series, which allows students in Tampa Bay to experience the performing arts.
