Join Par Bar’s Spring mini-golf league! 10 weeks of mini golf competition and fun starting on Tuesday, March 26.

Par Bar, the mini-golf-themed bar and games destination at 2253 1st Ave S, kicks off their spring mini-golf league this Tuesday, March 26. Prepare for a 10-week competition for your chance at the trophy!

Par Bar is already one of the best spots to spend a St. Pete evening, especially during college football season, where you can watch games inside on the TVs and play games outside on the mini-golf course (and we have a hard time saying no to a round of trash can beer pong, for that matter). With the weather at its most enjoyable season of the year, it’s an excellent excuse to get out in the sunshine and have some fun, preferably with a cold drink in hand.

Want to join their Spring Mini Golf League?

Here’s the breakdown of how this is going to work. Par Bar’s Spring League runs for 10 weeks, starting on March 26. Teams of two will compete scramble style with the best score counting per hole. Week 1 is an intro week aka your shot to learn the course (if you’re new), the rules, and to meet the other teams. Next comes eight weeks of regular season play with wins and stroke differential counting as a running total.

The last week of the league is playoffs with a March Madness-style bracket play. Each round will be a single elimination until only one team is left victorious! The top three teams will win prizes. The champs will also have their names forever etched in the Par Bar rafters on a shiny new trophy! Every week, you can look forward to cool swag and ticket giveaways to local events as part of the weekly challenges.

Casa Azul Tequila Sodas sponsor the Par Bar Spring League and all of their products will be half off on league nights. Plus League members can also get half off golf at Par Bar anytime during the season!

Full rules, details, previous league results, and the official sign-up link for the Spring League can be found here.

Since opening two years ago, Par Bar has become a cult favorite, and for a long list of reasons. Its mini-golf league nights are some of the most entertaining amateur sports competitions in town, and the challenging, adult-themed 18-hole mini-golf course is a hit with first-timers and long-time golfers alike.

Par Bar also happens to be one of our favorite sports bars in town, and one of the few places in Grand Central with enough TVs to make sure you can catch any game you’re looking for. Plus, their bar always has the best local craft beers on taps, and a lengthy menu of canned cocktails, seltzers, wine, and more. Plus, they always have food trucks on weekends to keep game players well-fed.

Of course, we would be remiss not to mention that the games portion of Par Bar is more than just the mini-golf. The bar also has ping pong, trash can beer pong, darts, cornhole, and even a Golden Tee arcade setup.

Par Bar opens daily at noon. Follow Par Bar on Facebook and Instagram for more updates.
