The 400 Block of Central Avenue is a food and drink lover’s paradise. One of the anchors of that block is IL Ritorno, a lauded dining concept from Chef David and Erica Benstock. The culinary couple then partnered with Pete (Boyd Construction) and Brooke Boyd (Hype Group) to bring Greenstock, a healthy and hearty salad concept next door. Their latest venture is one consistent with the ever shifting nature of the restaurant and grocery scene. Prepare for St. Pete Meat & Provisions.
“David has a big book of restaurant ideas and when we saw the opportunity to bring this to life we new it was the right time,” wrote Erica Benstock in a message to I Love the ‘Burg. “The more we worked on the concept the more we wanted to share with St Pete and that is how St. Pete Meat and Provisions was born.”

Chef David Benstock and team have curated a digital butcher case stocked with essentials from beef, poultry, pork, and special ‘Butcher’s Cuts’ such as lamb and veal, to handcrafted seasonings, rubs, salad dressings, cooking oils and more.
The digital concept was designed to help frequent customers of both restaurants find quality meats from a meticulously sourced selection of meats from trusted purveyors, and purchase them in the safest way possible, from the comfort of their own home.
Bringing a grocery experience to the 400 Block
This follows the trend of restaurants shifting operations to also serve as partial grocery stores.
St. Pete Meat & Provisions will be a contact free ordering and pickup process. Orders will be made exclusively online or by phone, and a pickup time can be selected while ordering. Pickup is available Monday through Saturday from 10:30am- 6:00pm at Benstock’s newer concept, Greenstock, located at 449 Central Avenue.

Truffle oils, hummus and more available
It’s not just proteins that are on the menu either. Truffle oil, Greenstock hummus, Brussel sprout kimchi, smoke tins for grilling, and homemade spaghetti.
