One Stop Dog Shop Joins the 600 Block

The 600 Block is flourishing. The Lure, Cider Press Cafe, an updated State Theatre and Bartique, among other spots, have brought out residents en masse to this eclectic section of Central Avenue. A new business has announced its imminent debut at 659 Central Avenue: Three Dog Bakery.

The one stop dog shop is a local dog bakery with fresh-baked, all-natural pastries and birthday cakes. It was originally established in 1989 and has locations all around the world. Three Dog Bakery’s 600 Block location will also offer an array of dog apparel, homeopathic remedies, toys, accessories and more.

An abundance of dog-friendly spots makes sense for St. Pete, a city that has gone to the dogs in the best way possible. Pet-friendly restaurants, breweries, bars, coffee shops and gathering places has helped activate the dog-owning community.

Wallethub’s list of the most pet-friendly cities in the U.S. ranked the Tampa-St. Pete area third. An opening date has not officially been established. Follow Three Dog Bakery on Facebook for further updates on a grand opening.
