New weekly night market is the Burg’s latest local incubator

New weekly night market is the Burg’s latest local incubator

There’s a new independent night market where you can shop all things local in the Burg — and it takes place under the royal palms outside Intermezzo.

The Royal Palm Market takes place in the EDGE District will take place every Thursday night beginning October 18 from 6-10pm. Oh and it’s totally dog-friendly!

Introducing the Royal Palm Market

The organizers behind the Royal Palm Market wanted to create a platform to promote local handmade vendors whether that is through produce, plants, specialty foods and handmade goods. We’re all for giving the inspiring makers in Tampa Bay another space to share their talents with the community.

Live music will be a constant feature at the market — and it absolutely complements the bustling vibe in the EDGE District. In addition to music and shopping, there will be tons of sweets to dig into. Specifically a VW Bus ice cream truck. Organizers also ensure there will be edible cookie dough and smoked meats to savor while you shop.

The Burg’s new hip incubator

More than just an event to help cultivate a community, the Royal Palm Market also hopes to serves as a place to do integral market research. The chic and hip incubator is place to cut your teeth, test your products and leave with hard statistics on what the St. Pete community responds to.

It’s a refined blend of creativity and commerce that allows some of our favorite local vendors to succeed not just in the Burg, but beyond it, too.
