New Wine and Food Festival to Celebrate Craft, Culinary Renaissance in St. Pete

St. Pete is a foodie paradise. The recent boom in the restaurant industry downtown, and around the city at large, have given residents a bevy of culinary options to suit every appetite and mood. The growth has also helped expand and elevate the palates of the dining community. In celebration of the chefs and entrepreneurs that feed this city, and in gratitude for the ever-curious taste buds of St. Pete residents, comes the St. Pete Wine and Food Festival.

From September 24-27, an all-star list of local chefs will prepare their sought after dishes, with a few surprises, for a grand tasting experience. Each dish will, of course, come with a chef-selected spirit.

It all begins on September 24 at The Birchwood with a charity dinner. The restauarant will feature a special wine pairing menu with proceeds benefiting the St. Pete Arts Alliance. They will serve a six-course dinner paired with specially selected estate wines. Chef Jason Cline of The Birchwood has created a farm-to-table epicurean experience.

On Friday, September 25, the Wine and Food Festival presents BEER Night, a brew enthusiast's utopia. The event will feature over 100 beers and ciders from local and national brewers. This event is emblematic of the award-winning and nationally recognized craft beer boom in Tampa Bay. Participating breweries include: Green Bench, B Nektar, Barley Mow, Ace, 3 Daughters, Rogue and Green Flash. Follow this link to get tickets to the event
