Is it too soon to think about the New Year? Never. Before we dance into the New Year, and the beginning of a new decade, we’re going to drink, dine, and savor every last minute of 2019. The Museum of Fine Arts, one of the premiere cultural institutions in St. Petersburg, will host a special New Year’s Eve Gala on December 31 complete with a sit-down dinner, and a full party.

The dinner to the New Year’s Eve Gala has already sold out, but you can still call (727) 896-2667 ext. 250 to be placed on a wait list.

Partygoers will enjoy music from DJ Curtis Carrasco, an open bar, prime viewing for the First Night fireworks display, a midnight champagne toast, and more surprise musical guests.

It might be the best New Year’s Eve Party in the ‘Burg.

Visitors will also enjoy access to the special exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts. So, yes, party, but also get yourself some culture before midnight.

The party runs from 9pm-1am. It costs $150 per person, or $250 per couple.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, just dress to impress. Who doesn’t want to feel fancy before tackling all of those resolutions.

The Museum of Fine Arts is located at 255 Beach Drive Northeast. You can purchase your tickets online.

We also highly recommend you pay a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts before NYE. The museum’s current installation, “The Grasshopper and The Ant, and Other Stories” is spellbinding. The immersive display features 5,000 insects depicting scenes from Aesop’s fables.
