October promises cooler weather and, with it, the return of I Love the Burg’s historic tours with Monica Kile. Monica’s in-depth walking and trolley tours provide historic insights, colorful trivia, and an unrivaled perspective on the city’s development. Monica is a longtime local with a knack for research and a passion for sharing the historic trends that have shaped the Sunshine City.

This fall, Monica will offer two walking tours and one trolley tour each month. Join her for the Grand Tour of Downtown on October 19, November 9, or December 7. Or stroll the Wonderful Waterfront with her on October 26, November 23, or December 21. Get walking tour tickets here before they sell out.

If riding is more your style, join Monica on one of her monthly Historic Trolley Tours aboard the Looper on October 20, November 17, or December 22.  All tours start at 10 am at Kahwa Coffee at 204 Second Avenue South. These tours typically sell out and are limited in capacity so get your tickets today!

St. Pete is full of historic landmarks related to its tourist past, like cafeterias, hotels, and ballrooms. Let Monica show you the remaining gems!

If you can’t catch Monica on one of her regular tours, don’t worry! You can explore St. Pete at your own pace using Monica’s new book: St. Petersburg: A Walk Through History, a compilation of eight walking tour routes featuring St. Pete’s most interesting historic sites. You can pre-order a book through Tombolo Books, or purchase one in person at Monica’s book launch event on October 15th at Tombolo Books!
