Lucky’s Market offering free refills on bulk water

Lucky’s Market St. Petersburg location is offering help to residents preparing for Hurricane Dorian. The latest maps show the Burg outside of the cone of uncertainty, of course all predictions are subject to change this far out. No, Lucky’s Market isn’t offering Dorian Cookie Cakes. Instead, the grocery store is offering free refills on bulk water as long as they’re open.

The shop made this announcement on Facebook. Lucky’s Market is located at 6765 22nd Avenue North. If you want to stock up just to stay safe, we recommend you pay them a visit. Your water is still good today, too. If you want to cut down on your plastic use, search for reusable vessels in your home to fill up with drinkable water.

Lucky’s Market isn’t alone in helping St. Pete prepare. Flying Boat Brewing halted production this weekend and filled up all of its tanks with drinkable water.

For now the weather looks OK in St. Petersburg, Florida. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, give our curated What To Do List a read for a rundown of the best events happening in the Sunshine City.
