Local Longboards Debuts Mobile Skate Shop

Our hearts sank just a bit when Local Longboards announced that it would be leaving its location on the 600 Block of Central Avenue. The shop’s art boards could easily be appreciated by lifelong skaters and art aficionados alike.

Co-owners Travis Hise and Jon Stine couldn’t stay away from the Tampa Bay business community for long. Recently, the craftsmen debuted the new Local Longboards mobile skate shop. Hise and Stine have the vehicle stocked up with trucks, wheels, helmets, boards, and the shop’s popular array of tees.

Myriad Pop Ups Planned for the Holiday Season

You can find the mobile skate shop at most local markets on a week by week basis. On December 12, Local Longboards will pop up at 4790 Freemont Tere South in the Burg, from 3-8pm. Keep up with future pop up shop locations by following the company on Facebook and Instagram.

With the imminent arrival of the Sunshine City’s new million dollar skatepark, Local Longboards place in our community becomes more and more pivotal. In addition to serving skaters both young and old, Local Longboards also serves as a reminder of the great products and results that come with supporting Burg-based entrepreneurs.
