Blind Tiger Cafe

The popular cafe, which began in Tampa a couple of years ago, is actively seeking out locations in St. Pete. The name references speakeasies set up during the prohibition era. It began as a way to bring people into their clothing boutique Black and Denim. The high-end clothing stores offers customer attire tailored for them. We're hoping that when they settle in St. Pete they'll bring their fresh threads with them. Where would you like to see a Blind Tiger in St. Pete?

Chihuly Collection

The much anticipated move of the Chihuly Collection from Beach Drive to Central Avenue continues to take shape. The collection should be in late September/early October following the  conclusion of St. Pete Arts Fest. They'll be located across from Banyan Cafe at 7th Street and Central Avenue.

200 Central Avenue

A popular spot for gluten-free diners will soon expand to the downtown area of St. Pete. They're looking to move into a spot at Priatek Plaza at 200 Central Avenue, offering the same exceptional list of pastries, desserts and sandwiches many have come to love, with a few new aspects to be revealed later. They're expected to open in the fall of 2016.

1049 Central Avenue

1049 Central Avenue, the former Amsterdam location, has been purchased and could bring an exciting gem back to the Burg. Let's hope the music returns the already bustling EDGE District.

1101 1st Avenue North

The long dormant location could soon see some life again. A company called G&T Wines put it out its banner on the property. The business was incorporated in November of 2015. Full details on the company are forthcoming.
