A sweet celebration of all things Lealman is taking over Ray Neri Park this weekend. The 2nd Annual Lealman Honey & Arts Festival takes place this Saturday, February 10, from 12 – 6 pm at Ray Neri Park, 4303 46th Avenue North.

Naturally, the festival will be full of the area’s specialty – local honey, produced by specialists in St. Pete’s growing Lealman community. And of course, local art will fill the space alongside a packed out itinerary of events and activations spread throughout the park, including a massive market of local vendors and makers.

In addition to local honey vendors, you’ll find local art, crafts, food trucks, a beer and wine garden, live music, and family fun zones for the children at the beautiful Raymond Neri Park. There will be dozens of exhibits curated by local artists, showcasing incredible and unique works reflective of St. Pete and the people who make it so special, as well as several art demonstrations. And don’t miss the headliner on stage: The Black Honkeys, a St. Pete favorite.

There is also an artisanal foods section of the festival, and there will also be informative talks and workshops on sustainable beekeeping practices, gardening tips for attracting pollinators, and the health and wellness benefits of honey. Expand your knowledge and gain insights from experts in the field while nurturing a deeper appreciation for nature and the environment.

As those who live there know, Lealman is a community with a rich history. The commitment made by the Pinellas County Board of Commissioners to create a Community Redevelopment Area Plan (CRA) in Lealman has established the foundation for long-term investments in the community. As part of those efforts, a Lealman Event Committee was formed to celebrate Lealman pride and, collectively with Lealman partners and sponsors, elevate and celebrate the community.

The Lealman Honey & Arts Festival, which debuted last year, was one of the first big events to come from that committee, an opportunity to celebrate Lealman and all things good in the neighborhood. Check their event page for updates on the dozens of vendors and artists joining the festival activities on Saturday.

“The Lealman Honey & Arts Festival is a celebration of community, creativity, and the wonders of the natural world,” organizers say. “Save the date and join us for a day filled with honey tastings, artistic wonders, and abundant family-friendly fun. Whether you’re a honey enthusiast, an art lover, or simply seeking an enjoyable experience, this festival promises an unforgettable day for all.”
