Another local business is stepping up to assist the community in its time of need. Kozuba & Sons Distillery just announced that its shifting all of its available resources to produce hand sanitizer.

The hand sanitizer will be made using the highest grade spirit that otherwise would have been used to make vodka. Kozuba & Sons is following all World Health Organization (WHO) hand sanitizer formulation recommendations, according to an Instagram post.

The Distillery will have a limited amount available “simply because bottles are difficult to come by at the moment,” the owners noted.

“We will do our best to purchase more bottles with dispensers as soon as they become available.”

The Distillery is currently working on creating the hand sanitizer. Where and when it will be available is still TBA.

Kozuba & Sons is currently closed for tours, but their retail shop is open with bottles of their famous whiskey available for purchase.

Kozuba & Sons is located at 1960 5th Avenue South. Follow the distillery on Facebook and Instagram for updates on when the hand sanitizer will become available.
