You had me at “free coffee.” Kahwa Coffee, a beloved local coffee roaster that began more than 10 years ago in St. Pete, has announced the grand opening of its new 4th Street North drive-thru location. On May 21, the cafe at 6601 4th St N will be “serving FREE Handcrafted Beverages all day long and there will be a chance to win Free Coffee for a Year!” according to an Instagram post.

Kahwa will also have a special ribbon cutting ceremony from 2:30pm-3:30pm with Mayor Ken Welch and the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce.

This new drive thru location is rather distinctive due to its shipping container structure. It also includes a walk up counter for area visitors/cyclists. It’s open 6am-6pm daily, and includes Kahwa’s full coffee/espresso menu, in a addition to an array of specialty baked goods.

Learn more about Kahwa Coffee, and find a location near your on the coffee roaster’s website. Follow Kahwa on Instagram and Facebook for updates on new drinks, locations, and deals.
