In case you haven’t noticed, it’s heating up in the city of St. Pete. While the summer season brings blue skies and sunshine, it also welcomes temperatures that will surely give you a fierce bearhug. The St. Pete Indie Market wants to help residents shop local year-round, which is why they’re moving from the funky stretch of Baum Avenue to the historic stage of the State Theatre for the summer — the first Saturday of each month, June through September, from 11am-3pm.
Summer Series at State Theatre
The proverbial buffet of inspired local businesses showcases the best of what St. Pete, and the entire Tampa Bay area has to offer. Visitors can browse pins, vintage t-shirts, handmade backpacks, tote bags, purses, baked goods, furniture, greeting cards and so much more.

In addition to elevating Sunshine City entrepreneurs, the Indie Market remains a prime example our community’s commitment to better the environment.
Back in January, Rosey Williams partnered with Thomas Paterek and Suncoast Surfrider Foundation to make the Indie Market Tampa Bay’s largest Ocean Friendly Business. This partnership ensures that all vendors over the course of 2017 will operate their businesses without single-use plastics. Suncoast Surfrider continues to assist and mentor businesses as they make the transition.
Indie Flea launches online shop
This isn’t the only piece of exciting news. Williams and crew just launched a new online shop for curious buyers to shop one-of-a-kind accessories, art, furnishings and more. You can follow the Indie Flea Shop on Instagram.
