Kitsune Sushi (2659 Roosevelt Blvd., unit 101) recently opened to rave reviews, and it’s worth the trip from St. Pete.
Entering the building, you are greeted by gorgeous vases filled with miniature cherry blossoms, paper lanterns, and most importantly, the welcoming waft of spicy miso soup.

“When people walk through the door, we want them to experience it like it’s their own trip to Japan,” said Ruoshi Weng in an interview with Fox 13 Tampa Bay.
Kitsune Sushi specializes in sushi, ramen, hibachi, and teriyaki. Each item is meticulously crafted and fresh—some serious edible aesthetics.
Leave room for decadent desserts (if you can)
If you can manage to find enough room in your stomach after the appetizers and mains, we suggest trying the Mochi or Tempura Ice Cream. But if you are anything like me, you might just keep the sushi, nigiri, and sashimi orders rolling in instead.
Pro tip: order extra to take home.
