To some, October is a time for costumes and parties, and to others, it’s a chance for a “Sober October” reset (and for plenty of people, it’s both!) As October begins and the holiday season quickly approaches, one St. Pete standout is making it easy to enjoy every day to the fullest, while still keeping the alcohol content to zero percent.

Herban Flow opened its doors at the beginning of the year, located at 6848 22nd Avenue North, and in the months since they have become a hit for their vast array of non-alcoholic beverages. The delightful shop offers a wide range of beverages, from non-alcoholic beer, wine and spirits, to herbal-infused beverages including kava, kratom, mushrooms and cannabis. In addition to the take-home beverages, Herban Flow also has a tasting bar for sampling beverages and space for events.

In fact, Herban Flow is celebrating its official grand opening this week, taking place Thursday, October 26, with festivities happening all day, including free drinks all day starting at 10 am. There will be an official opening ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce beginning at 10 am, followed by the ribbon cutting at 10:30. There will also be free samples from vendors, giveaways, and much more happening from open to close.

Not only is storefront open daily beginning at 11 am, Herban Flow has been popping up at events all over the area, earning a devoted following as the sober drinks movement continues to sweep the country. Ahead of the holiday season, the shop and its wares are a perfect pair to navigate all the parties, gatherings and time spent relaxing at home. 

The ethos is intentional, as owners Caitlyn and Mike Smith aim to help locals “find your flow,” and they opened the bottle shop “with the intent for the community to find alternatives to alcohol, learn about health and wellness products and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.”

Guests will also find healthy mixers, mocktails and more. The space truly has a wide range of offerings, with NA beer from the popular Athletic Brewing, THC seltzers from Cycling Frog, canned mimosas, pre-made mocktails, and tons of wine from Rose and Chardonnay to a non-alcoholic Syrah. The zero-proof spirit selection runs deep, as well, with mezcal, gin, whiskey, rum and much more.

Their arrival in St. Pete, greeted with enthusiasm, was a landmark for the state, as they became Florida’s first non-alcoholic + functional bottle shop.
