The Half Baked Potato is set to serve up super loaded baked potatoes in the Sunshine City. These spuds are huge, we’re talking at least three pounds each. Owners Chesley and Ozzy wanted to create a space where you could stuff your face and have some left over to take home.
Located at 1626 Central Avenue, the intimate space will operate as a quick service restaurant. Build your own potato, get it baked, mashed, or smashed (doused in a Cheeto dust and bacon grease), or order from a menu of 20+ signature items.

Chef Ozzy trained in New Orleans, and he says the concept is New Orleans with stoner vibes and 80s/90s nostalgia mixed in. My body is ready,
Similar concepts exist in states such as Louisiana and Texas, but Chelsey and Ozzy noticed there was nothing like it in the Sunshine State. The pair initially ideated Half Baked Potato as a food truck, but then the opportunity arose to open brick and mortar and they jumped on it.
One of the first signature menu items the owners revealed is the Buffy the Potato Slayer. This dish is loaded with the restaurant’s home-made buffalo chicken dip, ranch drizzle, shredded cheddar, and their house seasoning.
Giant Mac & Cheese potatoes
Other signature items include The Mac Daddy Mac & Cheese potato, The Jimbo made with Memphis Pork, The Dali with spinach and artichoke, a crab rangoon potato, and a What’s Up Dog featuring a chili cheese dog.
Beer will also be available, in addition to desserts such as a cheesecake brownie, a blondie, and a special 420 Cake.
The restaurant could open as early as next week, make sure to follow The Half Baked Potato on Instagram for updates.
The quote Chelsey and Ozzy continue to share ahead of the debut is this: Come get baked with us.
