One of the country’s biggest LGBTQ+ events is coming to St. Pete Beach. Girls In Wonderland has been celebrating women and the LGBTQ+ community in Florida for more than 20 years, and this weekend it will go seaside for the first time with Girls In Wonderland – Beach at Postcard Inn October 7-9.
The sprawling extravaganza is a three-day party at the iconic beachfront hotel, showcasing an array LGBTQ+ artists and celebrities. Marquee events include live music, stand up comedy, a wild club night, a volleyball tournament, a film festival, and of course, plenty of pool parties. Tickets for the weekend can be purchased as individual events or as a full weekend pass.
From the Girls In Wonderland website: “Bringing thousands of lgbtq patrons together at the hippest venues and resorts producing over the top shows, celebrating music, dance and art, and keeping women from around the world coming back for more is the formula that has been the formula to Girls In Wonderland’s success for twenty years!”
GIW – Beach is highlighted by DJ dance parties on Friday and Saturday night, a comedy show with Jen Kober on Friday night, the LEZ BEACH pool party on Saturday, and a jazzy Sunday brunch followed by the Dip Pool Party. Festivities kick off with Friday night’s Sunset Happy Hour.
