French Fry Fest returns to the Burg this February

French Fry Fest returns to the Burg this February

This is not a drill: French Fry Festival is coming back for a third year this February. Fittingly enough, this event takes place the day after Valentine’s Day — and is there any love truer than French fries? The answer no. The answer is always no.

French Fry Festival takes place on Friday, February 15, from 5-11pm in North Straub Park. Admission is free and all in attendance can browse piles of spuds cooked, baked and fried in variety of ways by more than 30 food trucks.

No need to rush to an ATM. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Each participating food truck will offer a special French fry dish in addition to their regular menus.

There will be a DJ and a live band at the festival. Best of all, it’s pet-friendly. So fido can enjoy all the local flavors with you.

Keep up with the event on Facebook for updates on new vendors, food specials and details about the band.

Serious question, St.Pete: What’s the best way to enjoy french fries? Douse them in ketchup, sprinkle them with salt (and pepper?), cover them in cheese? Let us know in a comment!

The event is presented by the Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association.
