Florida Free Rides Launches Downtown

Florida Free Rides Launches Downtown

SPRides, Uber, Lyft, the Central Avenue Trolley and Coast Bike Share have all helped make St. Pete a more connected city. The downtown area is about to become more accessible with the addition of Florida Free Rides.

The service has been available in Clearwater since 2011, their expansion in the burgeoning St. Pete area seems natural. Residents and visitors who begin the evening at North Shore Park or on Beach Drive typically desire to venture a ways up on Central Avenue to explore the 600 Block and the EDGE District.

Florida Free Rides remains free to customers through local sponsorships. The service runs from 9am to 3pm seven days a week. Customers can also enjoy flat rate long distance rides to the Hard Rock Casino, Indian Rocks Beach, Amalie Arena, Tampa International Airport and Clearwater Airport.

All drivers are trained concierges. To request your ride, call 727.512.4765. You can also visit their website to learn more. The service will cover the main downtown area and travel out as far as the Shore Acres and Snell Isle areas in St. Pete.
